SUMMARY:Colonial Yacht Club Lighted Boat Parade
DESCRIPTION:Sponsored by the Colonial Yacht Club\, the Lighted Boat Parade 
 for 2023 show cased some fantastic decorations. This year\, 2024\, we are 
 going to make a departure from past parades and show case many more boats.
  Boaters and spectators should mark their calendars. Complete details on t
 he new game plan to show off our town and many decorated boats will be pro
 vided soon.\n\nBoats will gather at 4:30 PM at buoy 2 on the Potomac River
 \, just outside CB. At 5:00 the boat parade will start and proceed to the 
 town pier\, to arrive at 5:15\, then continue to past 12th street. There t
 he boats will turn and proceed back to Monroe Bay. An after party will sta
 rt at Dockside at 7:00\, when the awards are announced. 1st\, 2nd\, and 3r
 d place prizes will be awarded in four categories: Yacht 35+'\, Cruiser &l
 t\;35'\, pontoon and runabout\, and sail and workboat.\n\nTo register or f
